Zero Tolerance:
A1 Transportation USA has a zero-tolerance policy for the use of drugs or alcohol while a driver is providing transportation services, or the driver is on duty to receive transportation request.
The zero-tolerance policy is posted on the company website and also at the company office.
The company also provide on its website a procedure for a passenger to report a complaint about a driver who the passenger reasonably suspects was under the influence of drugs or
alcohol during a trip. Upon receipt of a complaint from a passenger, the administrator shall immediately suspend the driver and, if applicable, the driver's access to the company's digital network. The administrator shall investigate the incident. The driver's suspension shall last for the duration of the investigation.The company shall maintain records of a passenger complaint for at least 2 years after the date.
Drug and Alcohol Testing:
Employees Subject to testing under the Company's drug testing policy, current and
prospective employees who work or would work in high-risk or safety-sensitive positions
including drivers and crewmembers can be asked to submit to drug testing. No prospective
employee will be asked to submit to testing unless an oƯer of employment has been made.
An officer by the company, however, is conditioned on the prospective employee testing negative for drugs.
Safeguards
The Company's policy is intended to comply with all state laws governing drug testing and
is designed to safeguard employee privacy rights to the fullest extent of the law.
